Through our partner organizations, research and consultations with local youth revealed that young people face a variety of challenges. Many experience social exclusion, discrimination or prejudice linked to cultural, ethnic or gender differences. Some struggle with expressing their identity or engaging in civic life. Online spaces often expose them to misinformation, hate speech and polarization, making it harder to participate safely and responsibly. These issues affect youth aged 18-26 and limit their opportunities for social, personal and digital development. We want to implement this project to provide a safe, inclusive and creative environment where participants can explore their identity, share experiences with peers from different countries and develop practical skills to respond to social and digital challenges. The project aims to empower young people to challenge stereotypes, promote inclusion and engage actively in their communities and online networks. Through workshops, role-plays, simulations and digital campaigns, participants will gain tools, confidence and experiences that support personal growth, intercultural understanding and social responsibility. The project will involve 32 persons in total, including 24 youth participants, 6 group leaders and 2 facilitators. Participants come from Cyprus, Hungary, Greece, Croatia, Georgia and Italy. Among the youth, 18 face fewer opportunities linked to discrimination, cultural differences, geographical limitations and social barriers. Group leaders are aged 18+ and will guide activities and support participants throughout the project. Facilitators will oversee the overall process and ensure the quality of learning experiences. Project objectives are: - To strengthen awareness of personal identity and cultural diversity; - To develop skills to recognize and challenge stereotypes and biases; - To equip participants with practical tools to respond to social exclusion and discrimination; - To enhance digital literacy and responsible engagement in online spaces; - To create campaigns that promote inclusion at local and digital levels; - To foster intercultural dialogue, teamwork and empathy among participants; - To empower young people to take active roles in promoting tolerance and understanding within their communities. In short, the project will bring together 32 persons and mentors from six countries to explore identity, diversity, social inclusion and digital responsibility through non-formal learning methods. Participants will address real-life challenges, develop practical skills, and share experiences in a collaborative, international setting. The outcomes will strengthen personal growth, intercultural understanding and youth participation, leaving a lasting impact on participants and their communities.
