Young people across Europe face increasing challenges related to digital literacy, online safety, creativity and collaboration in both digital and real-life contexts. Research conducted by the partner organizations revealed that youth often struggle with navigating online platforms responsibly, managing their digital identity and using digital tools to express themselves creatively. In addition, participants with fewer opportunities encounter barriers linked to discrimination, cultural differences, geographical isolation and social exclusion. These needs highlighted the importance of a structured Youth Exchange where participants could develop essential digital and interpersonal skills while learning from peers across different countries. The project aims to provide a comprehensive youth work experience that addresses these needs and empowers participants to become confident, responsible and creative users of digital tools. Through interactive sessions, non-formal education activities and collaborative projects, participants will strengthen their critical thinking, teamwork, problem-solving and digital competencies. Engagement with peers from other countries will foster intercultural understanding, social inclusion and personal growth. The Youth Exchange will involve 32 young people and 6 group leaders from Cyprus, Hungary, Greece, Poland, France and Germany. Among the participants, 18 young people face fewer opportunities, ensuring that the project promotes inclusion and equal access to international learning experiences. Two facilitators from Cyprus will support the implementation of activities, mentoring and reflection processes. The main objectives of the project are: - To strengthen digital literacy and critical thinking skills of young people across six countries; - To promote safe and responsible use of online platforms and enhance awareness of digital rights and responsibilities; - To develop participants’ creativity and competence in producing digital content and collaborative projects; - To foster teamwork, collaboration and problem-solving skills that can be applied in digital and real-life contexts; - To ensure project results and learning outcomes reach local communities through dissemination and peer-to-peer sharing throughout the year. In summary, the project will create a dynamic learning environment where participants develop essential skills for the digital era, engage in intercultural dialogue and gain practical experience in collaboration and creativity. Through structured activities, mentoring and community engagement, the Youth Exchange will empower young people to apply their knowledge in meaningful ways, fostering personal growth, social inclusion and sustainable impact in their local and international communities.
