Objectives

Youth Exchange Program: "We Are The World" The refugee crisis significantly impacts European societies, with thousands seeking better futures each year. Immigration is perceived as the primary challenge by EU populations. In response, our organization is hosting a youth exchange in Pervolia, Larnaca, from 09-18 of Octoeer 2026, involving 56 young participants and their leaders from Cyprus, Italy, Romania, Greece, Spain, Bulgaria and Lithuania. The choice of date is not accidental as the International Day for the Eradication of Poverty and the Promotion of Solidarity is celebrated on October 17. It was established by the UN in 2005 to highlight the importance of solidarity as a fundamental value in human relations. This day aims to promote cooperation and support for vulnerable groups and to combat poverty, promote human rights and strengthen social cohesion. Benefits of the Program Education: Participants will engage in discussions and explorations, enhancing their perspectives and professional skills, particularly in public speaking and communication. Cultural Exchange: Interaction with diverse cultures fosters personal and professional growth, encouraging innovative thinking and potential start-ups. Good Practices: Sharing effective methods and practices among participants enriches their experiences. Networking: Building a strong network can lead to future partnerships and support for projects. Objectives: The program aims to combat poverty, unemployment, and social exclusion in an open, globalized society. It emphasizes social justice, gender equality, and the rights of indigenous peoples and migrants, advocating for social harmony and equality. Learning Objectives: Exchange knowledge and best practices among an international group of young people. Increase understanding of different cultures, religions, and social issues. Promote intercultural dialogue, solidarity, and tolerance. Overcome stereotypes and discrimination. Develop communication skills in English. Ensure the inclusion of all young people in society, addressing risks of poverty and social exclusion. With one-third of European youth facing such risks, it is crucial to advocate for the rights of all young people, particularly the marginalized and excluded.
