Objectives

Many young people lack career guidance and support, adding to the burden they experience in transitioning to adulthood. Studies show that many young students lack exposure to various professions and are often unprepared to enter the workforce. Young adults are not exposed to career exploration activities early enough, leaving them with a limited understanding of the job market and available options. This project aims to help 28 participants gain the skills, knowledge, and attitudes they need to choose and start careers that match their strengths, needs, and personal goals. The objectives of this YE are: 1. By the end of the project, 28 participants will have created or improved their CV, LinkedIn profile, and cover letter, and will feel more confident making these documents compared to before the project. 2. By the end of the project, at least 25 participants will show clear improvement in their interview skills, being able to apply at least 3 new techniques they learned. 3. By the end of the project, all 28 participants will have learned and practised at least 5 tools and methods to explore and plan their future careers (e.g., job platforms, mind map, Carousel of Professions, SWOT analysis, SMART objectives, Career Pyramid) and used them to prepare a personal career plan. 4. The 28 participants will be able to identify their main skills and link them to current job market needs, feeling more confident in their strengths and their futures.
