The project aims to empower young people in Cyprus to actively engage in democratic life, particularly in the context of the upcoming Cypriot EU Council Presidency and national elections in 2026. Its objectives are to strengthen civic literacy, provide inclusive spaces for dialogue, and promote youth participation in shaping public debate. Through a youth-led forum in Limassol and preparatory and follow-up activities, the project will enable young people to develop knowledge, skills, and confidence to engage with decision-makers. It also seeks to foster tolerance, critical thinking, and trust in democratic institutions, while generating concrete youth-led policy recommendations to be shared at local, national, and European levels.
