The project aims to empower young people (13–30) to become critical, informed, and responsible digital citizens capable of resisting the negative impact of misinformation on social media. Its objectives are to: -Raise awareness of the risks and consequences of online misinformation and disinformation. -Equip youth with practical skills to evaluate online content, verify information, and recognise manipulative narratives. -Foster structured dialogue between youth, journalists, educators, digital experts, and policymakers to explore the impact of misinformation on democracy, mental health, and social trust. -Encourage peer-to-peer dissemination, enabling youth to act as multipliers in their schools, universities, and communities. -Promote European values of democracy and participation by giving youth a voice and enabling them to co-create recommendations and campaigns that strengthen resilience to disinformation.
