With Embrace the Unknown, we want to enable young people to transform fear of difference into curiosity, dialogue, and cooperation. Across Europe and beyond, many youth still experience discrimination, stereotypes, and social distance, often reinforced by polarising online environments. This project will create a safe and inclusive space where participants can challenge prejudice, reflect on their own assumptions, and build empathy through direct intercultural contact. Our objectives are to: -Support young people in identifying the root causes of prejudice and discrimination in their communities. -Foster self-reflection and empathy by encouraging participants to examine their own fears and biases. -Promote intercultural exploration through storytelling, cultural workshops, and collaborative activities that highlight diversity. -Strengthen digital and media literacy by training youth to recognise echo chambers and misinformation and by co-creating multilingual videos on inclusion. -Provide structured opportunities for intergroup dialogue where young people can share experiences, listen to personal stories, and develop solidarity across differences. By combining non-formal education methods, creative digital work, and intercultural learning, the project will help participants develop lasting competences in empathy, critical thinking, teamwork, and communication. They will return to their communities as active multipliers of inclusion, ready to inspire their peers and contribute to a more tolerant and united Europe.
