Media Minds helps young people (18–25) learn to spot false or harmful information online, talk with respect about public issues, and take part in community life. We use non-formal education: learning by doing, small teams, debates, games, and a daily reflection with Youthpass. The exchange takes place in Czechia with groups from CZ, PL, IT, and GR. At least 50% of participants are young people with fewer opportunities, supported by buddies, plain-language materials, and a quiet room. We follow green rules (no plastic, reusable bottles, waste sorting) and clear ethics (consent, credits, AI transparency). Our objectives are simple and practical: Build media literacy: young people understand misinformation, disinformation and malinformation, and how platforms and bias work. Grow verification skills: they use a 4-step check (source → proof → context → bias), basic image/video checks, and clear argumentation in debate. Create open tools: teams produce 5–7 short videos and a Fact-Check Toolkit (open licence, with subtitles) that youth workers and teachers can reuse. Support civic action: after the exchange, at least 80% of participants run one local action (school workshop, debate or mini-campaign), together reaching 500+ people. Recognise learning: every participant maps progress to the 8 Key Competences and receives Youthpass. Strengthen youth work quality: partners improve practice in inclusion, safe facilitation, green event design, and simple evaluation.
