The project is a 10-day youth exchange in Čechtice, Czech Republic, bringing together 21 young people (18–25) and 3 leaders from the Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Romania. Each country sends 7 participants and 1 leader, including 3 per country (9 total) with fewer opportunities. Support includes buddy systems, translated materials, pre-financing, and mentoring. The programme builds competences in mental health literacy, resilience, peer support, intercultural learning, and digital safety through non-formal methods: roleplay, storytelling hikes, debates, gamified workshops, and co-creation of a mental health toolkit. Activities progress from trust-building, to skill development, to reflection and dissemination. Evaluation uses MHL-12 and ERCS-6 tools at baseline, endline, and +3 months, with targets of 60% literacy gains, 70% resilience improvement, and 75% retention. Safeguarding is ensured through first aid–trained leaders, GDPR-compliant data, and daily wellbeing check-ins. Dissemination includes local events (≥60 peers), a toolkit, reels, photo stories, and posts, with results shared on SALTO, PRP, and partner websites. Impact continues through alumni mentoring, online check-ins, and integration of methods into partner organisations’ youth work. The consortium unites Youth Experience Platform (CZ), NextGen (RO), and BridgeXChange (SK), combining expertise in coordination, digital safety, and inclusion to deliver a sustainable, youth-led exchange supporting Erasmus+ priorities, EU Youth Goals, and SDGs.
