YOUnisphere aims to equip youth workers with innovative, holistic methods to better support young people facing stress, anxiety, disconnection, and the pressures of a fast-changing world. By combining embodied practices with applied storytelling, the project strengthens youth workers’ resilience, confidence, and creativity, giving them practical tools to activate, engage, and empower young people in diverse contexts. The objectives are to provide youth workers with competences directly applicable to daily practice, create a balance of theoretical input and experiential learning, and foster exchange among organisations working with eco-communities, urban youth, LGBTQ+ groups, and marginalised young people. Through the training course and follow-up phase, participants will not only reflect on their professional role but also implement concrete activities in their communities, ensuring that learning is transferred into practice. The objectives of YOUnisphere are: - Equipping youth workers with innovative competences for youth activation and engagement. - Creating space for both theoretical input and experiential learning. - Strengthening the resilience, confidence, and creativity of youth workers so they can better respond to the needs of young people. - Facilitating exchange of practices among diverse organisations working in eco-communities, urban spaces, LGBTQ+ initiatives, and groups supporting marginalised youth. - Contributing to the professionalisation of youth work across Europe, creating measurable outcomes such as follow-up activities, number of young people engaged, and adoption of new methodologies by local organisations. The project is fully aligned with Erasmus+ priorities, especially in the fields of social inclusion, promoting mental health and well-being, strengthening youth participation, and supporting the professional development of youth workers. The combination of embodied practices with storytelling and reflection is innovative, providing youth workers with methods that are both experiential and transferable, capable of creating meaningful impact in diverse European contexts.
