The aim of the project is to enhance the capacity of youth workers to critically engage with AI and digital technologies, in order to safeguard young people’s critical thinking and cognitive resilience while also using technology constructively for learning and sustainable development. The specific objectives are to: - strengthen youth workers’ understanding of how AI and digital overuse affect young people’s attention, learning, and social life; - equip them with strategies to prevent negative effects while embracing the positive educational potential of digital tools; - co-create innovative non-formal educational activities at the intersection of AI, critical thinking, and sustainability; - build a European community of youth workers who can guide young people to remain empathetic, creative, and critically engaged in a rapidly changing digital society. The training course will give youth workers practical tools to address the challenges of digital overuse and the impact of AI on learning and decision-making, while also showing how these technologies can be used in positive and sustainable ways. Participants will co-create non-formal educational activities that link AI, critical thinking, and sustainability, and they will bring these new methods back into their daily practice.
