The theme of the proposed project Body / Ice / Time is conscious work with the body, nature, and creativity as tools for strengthening the mental and physical resilience of youth workers. The aim of the project is to improve the quality of youth work by developing the competences of youth workers from partner countries in integrating artistic, environmental, and embodied methods into educational practice. The project develops participants’ competences by connecting art, movement, and environmental topics. Participants will gain new methods and inspiration to apply in their daily work – particularly in supporting young people’s mental well-being, strengthening their relationship with nature, and fostering healthier forms of community connection. Concrete benefits for youth workers _they will acquire practical methods using movement and creativity as tools for self-awareness and resilience, _they will gain approaches for addressing ecology and sustainability in a creative and experiential way, _they will have the opportunity to share experiences and examples of good practice with peers from other countries, _they will be motivated to transfer what they have learned into their organisations and local communities through small-scale activities for young people. Project objectives _to create a learning environment where youth workers and young people can experience climate change through embodied practice and creativity, _to expand participants’ competences in embodied learning, artistic reflection, and environmental sensitivity, _to strengthen participants’ well-being and resilience through practices of “slowness” and mindful movement, _to link personal transformation with a deeper awareness of planetary change and build a foundation for new approaches in youth work.
