Objectives

With this project we want to make human rights something real and close to young people. Too often human rights are seen as abstract or only connected to "politics", but in reality they are part of our everyday lives. Through this exchange we will give young people the chance to discover how human rights link to things they know and experience: being treated fairly, having equal chances, being free from discrimination, having their voice heard, or understanding migration and diversity. We want participants to experience human rights in action, not just talk about them, and to see that they can also play a role in protecting and promoting them. The programme will therefore focus on human rights and related topics such as discrimination, gender and migration, helping participants to explore these connections in an intercultural environment. The main objectives of the project are: To raise awareness of human rights among young people and show their relevance to daily life. To explore key challenges young people face today, such as discrimination, gender inequality and the realities of migration. To strengthen participants’ skills in non-formal learning, creativity and advocacy, enabling them to act as multipliers in their own contexts. To foster intercultural dialogue and solidarity by bringing together diverse groups of young people to share perspectives and develop collective strategies for equality. To encourage active citizenship by equipping participants with the confidence and tools to stand up for rights and promote inclusion in their local communities.
