By implementing this project, we want to create a safe, intercultural learning space where young people can critically engage with the topics of migration, media, and inclusion, while at the same time strengthening their competences as active citizens. Our main aim is to equip participants with knowledge, skills, and attitudes that they can directly apply in their youth work, volunteering, and community life. Objectives from the perspective of youth work practice: Increase knowledge and awareness – provide young people with a deeper understanding of migration dynamics, European migration policies, and the role of media in shaping public opinion. Strengthen media literacy and critical thinking – train participants to question stereotypes, identify misinformation, and analyse how narratives influence social inclusion or exclusion. Promote intercultural dialogue and empathy – use experiential activities such as simulations, storytelling, and role plays to help young people understand different perspectives and overcome prejudice. Develop youth participation and leadership skills – empower participants to take initiative by designing and implementing local follow-up actions (e.g. campaigns, workshops, discussions) that address migration and inclusion in their own communities. Foster cooperation and peer learning – create opportunities for young people from Germany, Türkiye, Greece, and Bulgaria to work together, learn from each other’s realities, and build lasting European networks. Support personal development and recognition of learning – guide participants in reflecting on their competences through daily evaluations and Youthpass, strengthening their confidence, communication skills, and civic engagement.
