With the project "Kick for Europe" we want to give young people from Bielefeld and Lisbon the opportunity to experience democracy, diversity and European cooperation in practice. The main objective is to bring together especially young people with fewer opportunities in a safe and inclusive environment where they can engage in intercultural learning, build friendships and strengthen their social skills. From a youth work perspective, the project aims to foster non-formal learning, participation and empowerment through shared experiences. The young participants will gain self-confidence, teamwork abilities and a stronger democratic mindset. They will learn that their voices matter, that diversity is a strength, and that they can take active responsibility as citizens in their communities and in Europe.
