With From Words to Impact, we want to empower young people to transform their ideas, stories, and voices into concrete actions that create positive change in their communities. The project aims to show young people that communication is not only about speaking but also about listening, understanding, and acting together. The main objectives are: to strengthen young people’s competences in communication, storytelling, and digital expression as tools for participation and social change; to promote active citizenship by encouraging young people to take part in community life and to address issues such as discrimination, inequality, and exclusion; to increase intercultural awareness and solidarity by bringing together 48 participants from six European countries to live and work together in an inclusive environment; to support the personal growth of participants, helping them to develop confidence, teamwork, empathy, and creativity through non-formal education methods; to provide space for young people with fewer opportunities to express themselves, gain new experiences, and feel part of the wider European community. From a youth work perspective, the project focuses on giving young people the chance to learn by doing. Through workshops, group projects, and creative campaigns, they will practice key life skills in a safe and supportive environment. Youth workers and team leaders will guide them throughout the process, ensuring that learning outcomes are recognised and linked to their Youthpass competences. In this way, From Words to Impact combines youth participation, inclusion, and creativity to support the development of young Europeans as active citizens ready to contribute to their societies and to the European project.
