The "LaDIY's - Let's Do It Ourselves" Erasmus+ exchange project aims to bring together young FLINTA* individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds and empower them through non-formal learning and creative expression. During the one-week exchange, participants will be empowered in the following areas: The project aims to encourage young women* to actively participate in shaping their own lives and communities. It provides a platform for intercultural encounters and the exchange of experiences and perspectives. Through workshops on topics such as assertiveness, creative expression, and social engagement, participants will strengthen their skills and confidence. The focus is on promoting independence, self-efficacy, and self-confidence. A central goal of the project is to give participants the opportunity to share and hear their own voices and stories. Through collaborative creative projects, strong emancipatory moments and emotional expression, participants will be empowered to express their experiences, dreams, and visions. Additionally, participants' craftsmanship skills will be strengthened through concrete workshops in woodworking and agriculture. We also aim to raise awareness of gender stereotypes and inequalities and encourage participants to advocate for gender equality and live feminist values. Furthermore, the project aims to build sustainable partnerships between participating organizations and communities to foster long-term support and collaboration. The project seeks to create a space for shared learning, growth, and empowerment that extends beyond the exchange timeframe and has long-term positive impacts on participants and their communities.
