Objectives

With this project, we want to help young people better understand their digital life and make more responsible choices online. Today, most young people spend a large part of their day on social media, online platforms, and apps. They know how to use these tools, but many do not think about the long-term consequences of their actions online. Every post, picture, or comment leaves a digital footprint that can affect their privacy, reputation, and even future opportunities. Our main goal is to empower young people to take control of their online presence, to make informed and responsible choices, and to use digital tools in a safe, creative, and balanced way. By combining digital literacy with teamwork, creativity, and intercultural learning, the project will not only improve individual competences but also create useful resources that can support youth work in the future. Participants will not only learn about risks and responsibilities online, but also develop concrete skills they can use in their studies, jobs, and communities. This project will give them the knowledge, tools, and skills to be safer, more critical, and more creative in the digital world. From the perspective of youth work practice, the objectives of the project are: - To raise awareness about digital footprints, online privacy, and the responsibility of sharing personal information. - To develop participants’ digital skills and teamwork abilities through collaborative multimedia activities, including writing, graphic design, and video/photo production. - To create a practical toolkit, containing information to help young people manage their digital presence (privacy settings, digital balance, and safe sharing practices). Through these objectives, we want to show that youth work can respond directly to the realities of young people’s daily lives. Non-formal education methods such as workshops, role plays, simulations, and multimedia teamwork will make learning more engaging and practical. By working in international and diverse teams, they will learn to respect differences and cooperate across cultures. In this way, the project achieves more than raising awareness. It supports youth workers and organisations with new tools, strengthens cooperation between countries, and helps young people become confident, creative, and responsible digital citizens. It empowers them to not only protect themselves online but also to inspire their peers and communities to do the same..
