The project "City Bound Europe – Academy of Change Makers III" aims to empower young people and youth workers to initiate positive social change within their local and European communities. Through non-formal education activities and international youth mobilities, the project strengthens key competencies that enable participants to actively contribute to a democratic, inclusive, and values-based society. It also contributes to the professional development of the organizations within the City Bound Europe Network by enhancing their capacity to design and implement high-quality educational programs. Specific Objectives of the Project: • Promoting European Identity, Citizenship, and Values Participants will engage with fundamental European values, democratic principles, and their role as active citizens. The project fosters a sense of European belonging and encourages civic engagement, particularly in combating disinformation and manipulation. • Developing Training Programs for Youth Workers The project will create practical and needs-based training modules that equip youth workers with the skills to design and deliver educational activities, especially in the fields of civic education, youth participation, and European youth policy. • Exploring Innovative Learning and Teaching Approaches The project promotes new pedagogical methods in non-formal education, including participatory, experiential, and intercultural approaches. These methods aim to strengthen participants’ self-efficacy, critical thinking, and capacity for social engagement.
