Through Find Your Nature, we aim to enhance youth work by integrating ecological resilience, emotional well-being, and systemic thinking into practical youth facilitation. From the perspective of youth work, our objectives are clear and interlinked. The project equips youth workers with reflective tools and nature-based methods such as ecotherapy and systems thinking, helping them to build both personal and ecological resilience. It trains participants to embed eco-centric approaches into their daily practice, fostering deeper emotional connections with nature among the young people they support. The project also promotes systemic and critical thinking within youth work, encouraging participants to question conventional narratives around success, identity, and human–ecological relationships. By integrating emotional, ecological, and social dimensions through practical activities, the training empowers youth workers to support holistic youth development in their communities. At the same time, it strengthens professional competences such as emotional intelligence, adaptability, and empathy, ensuring that participants leave with skills directly applicable in diverse youth work contexts. Beyond individual development, the project supports youth worker self-organisation and the design of community-led initiatives rooted in local needs and ecosystems. Finally, it seeks to build a sustainable European network of reflective youth work practitioners, providing a platform for ongoing knowledge exchange, mutual learning, and collaborative action across borders.
