The SEI – Self-Effectiveness Intensive project strengthens youth workers’ everyday practice under pressure. Its objectives are to build resilience through embodied self-regulation methods that help manage stress and prevent burnout; to improve communication by practising the 4-Sides Model and non-verbal awareness for clearer dialogue and conflict de-escalation; to reinforce peer support through regular reflection circles and feedback that normalise cooperation and help-seeking; and to secure transfer by ensuring each participant leaves with a concrete Personal Action Plan and a co-created Toolkit ready for immediate use. These objectives directly support ETS competence areas such as communicating meaningfully, working with others, facilitating learning, and learning to learn. They are realistic within a six-day residential training and will be monitored through light KPIs, including at least 80% of participants reporting measurable progress in self-regulation and communication, and 70% implementing one element of their Action Plan within eight weeks.
