The project aims to strengthen youth work practice by equipping youth workers with the knowledge, skills and tools needed to engage young people effectively in European citizenship, civic participation and intercultural learning. The objectives are: - Enhance knowledge of the European Union: Youth workers will gain a thorough understanding of EU institutions, policies and decision-making processes, enabling them to explain these concepts clearly to young people and integrate European perspectives into their activities. - Develop practical skills for youth engagement: Participants will acquire innovative non-formal education methods such as workshops, simulations, debates and role-plays that can be directly applied in their organisations to foster active participation and critical thinking among youth. - Promote intercultural competence and inclusion: The project will help youth workers strengthen their ability to work with diverse groups, including those from migration, rural or economically disadvantaged backgrounds, ensuring that their youth work is inclusive and responsive to different needs. - Foster networking and collaboration: By connecting youth workers from multiple countries (France, Germany, Spain, Türkiye and Estonia), the project will build sustainable professional networks to share good practices, co-develop activities and support cross-border cooperation in youth work. - Strengthen the capacity to inspire active citizenship: Youth workers will be empowered to motivate young people to engage in civic and European activities, thereby improving the quality and relevance of youth work in their local communities. - Ensure sustainable impact: Participants will develop follow-up actions and multipliers in their organisations, ensuring that the skills, methods and knowledge acquired during the project continue to improve youth work practice beyond the training itself. By achieving these objectives, the project will directly enhance the quality, innovation and inclusiveness of youth work, enabling youth workers to create meaningful learning experiences that encourage young people to engage actively with European issues and democratic processes.
