The project aims to empower young journalists from Germany and Austria by combining practical training with international editorial work. Its objectives are to strengthen journalistic competences such as research, interviewing, writing and multimedia production, and to develop transversal skills including teamwork, intercultural communication and digital literacy. By publishing participants’ work on Orange Magazine and partner channels, the project gives visibility to youth voices and encourages them to take an active role in public debate. Another key objective is to build sustainable cooperation between European Youth Press (EYP) and Jugendpresse Österreich (JPÖ), supporting JPÖ in gaining Erasmus+ experience and capacity for future international projects. In line with the European Youth Goals, the project contributes to quality learning opportunities, inclusion of young people with fewer opportunities, and environmentally friendly participation through green travel.
