Our project will raise awareness of young people for right-wing extremists content on social media and other online sources of the “New Right” movement. Youngsters will learn how to recognize their manipulation strategies and decode their communication methodologies. Furthermore, the project will ENGAGE young people in the democratic participation in European society They will learn about the stark contrast of right-wing extremist content to European values and the consequences if European societies lose touch to core humanistic values like human dignity. By doing so, youngsters are activated to use democratic participation channels for articulating their democratic needs and demands for the future. The project will further ENGAGE young people in an open DIALOGUE with a political decision-maker. This makes the event series a real “laboratory for democracy” in which youngsters exercise their democratic communication rights in order to fight for their right to be heard.
