Democracy Camp is an intercultural exchange focusing on democracy, sustainability, and intersectionality. To network young people from different European countries, 51 people under 26 from 9 countries participate. To promote political participation among young people, the group explores two guiding questions: What participation tools are available to me? And how can I use these tools to promote sustainability and inclusion? To this end, participants identify a wide variety of democratic best practices in sustainability and inclusion. They expand their understanding of political levels and the role of the EU. In addition, knowledge transfer on successful projects - fundraising, implementation, campaigning - takes place. The partners disseminate all results. Overall, the project promotes a culture of discussion and understanding of democratic principles among young people and raises their awareness of intersectional insights.
