The project aims to empower young people to take an active role in shaping their communities, strengthen intercultural understanding, and build leadership skills. It will provide meaningful opportunities for youth participation, fostering collaboration across borders and promoting democratic and sustainable values. Young people, especially the Cologne core group and mentors, will develop competences in project management, communication, and mentoring to lead future initiatives. Through the “Colonia” theme, participants will explore resilience, community rebuilding, and sustainability while deepening empathy and cultural awareness. The project will also strengthen long-term cooperation between partner cities and create a multiplier effect, inspiring more young people to engage in international youth work and civic life.
