Objectives

The project aims to raise awareness and enhance understanding of EU among vocational school students in Denmark, a group which according to the Danish Youth Forum experiences a relatively low degree of democratic self-esteem. Through dilemma-based workshops, students will be introduced to European democracy and explore EU-related topics connected to their future job market. The project consists of 12 visits on vocational schools across Denmark. During these visits, the EU is introduced in an engaging and interactive way, using dilemma scenarios to involve students and encourage critical thinking. The activities are led by young facilitators who, through training, have gained the skills and knowledge to teach about EU and to create an engaging learning environment. The goal of the project is to introduce vocational school students to the EU in an engaging, educational, and enjoyable way, helping them to deepen their understanding of European democracy.
