Objectives

The project aims to strengthen young people’s knowledge and democratic confidence by engaging them in fact-based debates on gender equality in Denmark and the EU. We will train 20 young volunteers as equality ambassadors who facilitate peer-to-peer workshops at 10 secondary schools and folk high schools across all Danish regions. Using interactive non-formal learning methods, they challenge stereotypes, misinformation and myths while linking EU values to young people’s everyday experiences. At least 10,000 additional young people will be reached digitally through campaigns, videos, quizzes and online debates, ensuring that voices from diverse social, geographical and cultural backgrounds are included. By creating direct dialogue between youth and Danish Members of the European Parliament, we add a strong European dimension where youth perspectives are heard and can influence political debates. The project contributes directly to the EU Youth Strategy goals: Engage, Connect and Empower.
