The aim of the project is to create opportunities for deaf youth to participate in youth work. The project consists of three stages. In the first stage, young people will be trained to express their needs and rights, to take part in decision-making processes, and to be actively involved in youth work. In the second stage, the trained young people will go to youth centres and educational institutions to share information about the needs and rights of deaf youth with both youth workers and other young people, and to create opportunities for deaf youth to organise events, express their view, and participate in decision-making processes in order to improve youth work services. In the third stage, a video-based book (V-book) will be compiled, based on the experiences of deaf youth, and presented to ENL (Estonian National Youth Council), ENK (Estonian Association of Youth Workers), and local-level youth workers or experts in different ways to raise awareness and support inclusive youth work.
