Objectives

By implementing this project, we want to create real change for young people who, like many of us, feel uncertain about their future careers, lack the confidence to start something new, or have never been introduced to opportunities like Erasmus Plus. We want to make sure that young people, no matter their background, get the tools, skills, and motivation they need to enter the labour market, create their own projects, and participate actively in their communities. From a youth work practice perspective, this means designing an activity that combines non-formal education, peer-to-peer learning, and international cooperation to address the needs we have identified together with our partners and future participants. It’s not only about talking—it’s about doing, practising, and creating something that will last. Our main objectives are: Build practical skills for employability We will create sessions that help young people prepare for real-life job situations. This includes writing strong CVs, practising job interviews, improving teamwork, and learning how to communicate effectively. These are skills that youth workers can keep using in local activities with other young people, long after the exchange. Develop entrepreneurial skills Through creative workshops and teamwork challenges, we will practise idea generation, project planning, and pitching. Youth workers can adapt these activities for local training, helping other young people turn ideas into real projects or small businesses. Promote equal access and inclusion We are committed to making sure everyone feels welcome, especially those from rural areas, migrant backgrounds, or with fewer opportunities. From a youth work practice point of view, this means using inclusive methods, providing extra support where needed, and showing concrete ways to break down barriers in community work. Strengthen digital skills We will introduce and test online tools for job searching, networking, and project management. Youth workers will be able to transfer this knowledge to their own groups, helping more young people feel confident using digital resources for their careers and personal projects. Raise awareness about green skills and sustainability We will connect sustainability with employability, showing how eco-friendly thinking can be part of future jobs and entrepreneurship. These activities will give youth workers practical examples they can bring into other programmes to link environmental responsibility with youth empowerment. Promote Erasmus Plus and Youthpass to newcomers We will share our experiences and find creative ways to introduce Erasmus Plus to young people who have never participated before. Youth workers will have ready-made tools, stories, and methods to use when motivating newcomers in their own communities. By the end of the project, we want to achieve: More confident and skilled participants who can take active steps in their careers or projects. Stronger partner organisations with new tools, methods, and ideas for their youth work. A free online guide co-created by participants, full of practical tips, personal stories, and activity ideas that can be used by other young people and youth workers across Europe. Better visibility of Erasmus Plus and Youthpass among young people who didn’t know about these opportunities before. In youth work practice, this project will act as both a direct learning experience for participants and a resource-building activity for youth workers. Every session we run, every method we test, and every tool we create will be documented so that it can be used again in different contexts. We see this youth exchange as a space where young people learn by doing, support each other, and connect with youth workers and organisations that will continue to guide them after the project ends. The combination of skills training, creative teamwork, and inclusive practice will help participants—and the wider youth community—be better prepared for the challenges of the labour market, more confident in their abilities, and more aware of the opportunities available to them in Europe.
