DIGItox aims to empower young people to reduce digital dependency, reconnect with nature, and foster mental well-being through balanced technology use and sustainability-focused activities. The project is designed within the principles of youth work, ensuring that learning is participatory, inclusive, and practice-oriented. The main objectives are: -Raise Awareness: Educate young people about the negative effects of excessive screen time and the addictive nature of digital services, encouraging critical thinking and self-reflection. -Encourage Digital Well-being: Equip participants with practical and mindful strategies for reducing screen time, setting healthy boundaries, and fostering a more positive and conscious relationship with technology. -Foster Reconnection with Nature: Use outdoor, experiential, and eco-therapy activities to highlight how nature can support mental health, reduce stress, and inspire sustainable lifestyles. -Promote Intercultural Exchange: Bring together young people from different countries and backgrounds to share experiences, learn from one another, and develop mutual respect and solidarity across cultures. -Empower Youth as Change-makers: Provide participants with tools, competences, and motivation to act as multipliers of digital well-being and sustainability in their local communities through peer-to-peer initiatives and follow-up workshops. -Support Inclusion of Youth with Fewer Opportunities: Ensure equal participation by addressing barriers (economic, social, cultural, or geographical), offering tailored support, and creating a safe and empowering learning environment for all.
