The InDANCE project aims to strengthen the quality, recognition, and innovation of youth work by using inclusive dance as a tool for professional development and social transformation. At its core, the project seeks to empower youth workers with new competences that enable them to create accessible, creative and participatory environments for young people of all abilities. From a youth work perspective, our objectives are: -To enhance the professional competences of youth workers by equipping them with inclusive methodologies, improvisational tools, and accessibility strategies grounded in the European Training Strategy competence model. -To promote inclusion and diversity by integrating disabled and non-disabled youth workers and young people in shared learning spaces, thereby challenging stereotypes and fostering equality in daily youth work practices. -To foster creativity and innovation in youth work by introducing improvisational dance and artistic expression as powerful tools for personal growth, intercultural dialogue, and civic engagement. -To build sustainable partnerships and networks between youth work organisations across different countries, encouraging exchange of practices and long-term cooperation. -To create accessible resources for the wider youth field, including the InDANCE Accessible Guide, which will document best practices and provide concrete tools for replication. By achieving these objectives, InDANCE will directly contribute to the professional development of youth workers, the quality of youth work organisations, and the broader aims of the Erasmus+ Youth Strategy, particularly in relation to inclusion, participation and empowerment.
