The LEAD project brings together the Youth NGO USB and three local municipalities, with the aims to empower young people to actively participate in local governance and civic life by providing them with skills in public speaking, leadership, advocacy, and debate. It seeks to establish structured dialogue between youth and decision-makers, enabling youth-led policy proposals and fostering inclusion of underrepresented groups, including those from disadvantaged backgrounds and young people with disabilities. The project also promotes gender equality, European citizenship awareness, and social responsibility. By combining non-formal education, mentorship, and participatory activities, LEAD strengthens youth engagement, builds sustainable youth participation structures in municipalities, and inspires long-term civic involvement across communities.
