Objectives

With the implementation of the project “From Stereotypes to Solidarity”, we aim to create a transformative and lasting impact on the young participants, the organizations involved, and their communities, addressing in a practical way the challenges that young people face in their personal, social, and cultural development. From a youth work perspective, the project seeks to strengthen critical awareness and reflection on stereotypes, prejudice, and discrimination, promoting values of inclusion, solidarity, and respect for cultural, social, and economic diversity. The participants are expected to acquire intercultural competencies, effective communication skills, teamwork, leadership, and conflict resolution abilities, as well as the capacity to plan and implement actions that foster social cohesion in their local environments. Another key objective is to enhance young people’s active participation in community life and in projects at local, national, and European levels, encouraging them to become agents of change in their communities by applying what they have learned through practical activities such as awareness campaigns, workshops, and interactive sessions. Additionally, the project aims to strengthen participants’ resilience, self-esteem, and motivation, particularly for those facing economic, cultural, or social barriers, providing them with methodological tools and practical experiences that enable them to overcome challenges and contribute meaningfully to collective well-being. Finally, the project seeks to create long-lasting networks of cooperation between young people and organizations from different countries, facilitating the exchange of good practices and mutual learning, and consolidating a model of youth work based on non-formal education, active participation, and European solidarity. In this way, the objectives are ensured not only during the activity itself but also in their sustained impact over time, transforming both the participants and their communities in full alignment with the values and quality standards of Erasmus+.
