We aim to use sport as a powerful tool and a universal language to address urgent social challenges affecting young people in Spain, Italy, and Malta, such as the risk of social exclusion, an aging population, migration, and xenophobic discourses. From a youth work practice perspective, our objectives are: To create inclusive and accessible sporting experiences that serve as spaces for integration, dialogue, and respect for diversity, allowing young people from different backgrounds to interact on equal terms. To foster awareness and critical thinking among young people about these social challenges and how sport can be an engine for community cohesion and social transformation. To empower young people by giving them an active role in designing and leading activities, so they can become agents of change capable of replicating these inclusive initiatives in their local communities. To generate a tangible legacy through the collaborative creation of resources, such as a manual of good practices, that will serve other organizations and young people.
