With this project we aim to respond to the growing demand from young people in our municipality to take part in youth exchanges. Although our Youth Service works with young people aged 12 to 30, most users are under 18. This exchange is designed to particularly attract young adults and offer them a meaningful international learning experience. The main theme of the project is healthy lifestyles, approached from three perspectives: sport, nutrition and emotional wellbeing. These areas were chosen because many of our young people face challenges such as sedentary habits, poor diet, stress and anxiety. The exchange also seeks to create positive role models who will inspire other young people in the community to adopt healthier habits. The objectives include: strengthening teamwork and peer learning, adopting positive sports and nutritional habits, discovering relaxation and self-expression strategies, enhancing emotional wellbeing, promoting intercultural understanding and tolerance, improving conflict resolution skills, developing foreign language competences, and creating vital experiences that foster personal development. To achieve these goals, the project will use non-formal learning methods such as learning by doing, peer-to-peer activities, intercultural living and contact with positive models linked to sustainability and rural lifestyles. In this way, participants will not only join the activities but also take an active role in leading and shaping their own learning process.
