Objectives

MapMyArt aims to strengthen youth work by combining artistic expression, intercultural dialogue, and digital innovation as tools for empowerment. Through this project, we aim to: Empower young people through art and digital tools: Support young European artists in gaining visibility and recognition by showcasing their profiles and creations on an interactive digital map. Strengthen their confidence and sense of belonging to a European artistic community, helping them take steps toward professionalization. Promote intercultural learning and community values: Create safe spaces for collaboration and coexistence in a rural environment, where young people from different disciplines (music, performing arts, visual arts) and cultural backgrounds can connect. Promote key values of youth work such as respect, equality, tolerance, solidarity, and inclusion through shared artistic experiences. Foster creativity and youth entrepreneurship: Encourage artistic entrepreneurship by providing practical opportunities to design, present, and promote collaborative projects. Inspire participants to understand creativity as a tool for social transformation and to value the rural environment as a space for innovation and inspiration. Strengthen European youth networks: Build sustainable transnational connections through the digital platform www.mapmyart.com, ensuring ongoing collaboration beyond the project. Promote active European citizenship by demonstrating how digital technologies can be used positively to connect, create, and share beyond national borders. Contribute to youth work practice at a European level: Show how non-formal education methods (art-based learning, group dynamics, co-creation, and reflection) can empower young people. Provide youth workers with tools to integrate artistic expression and digital platforms into their practice, fostering more inclusive and innovative projects.
