Objectives

With this project, we aim to respond to the growing demand from the young people in our municipality to take part in youth exchanges. Although our Youth Service works with young people aged 12 to 30, most of our users are under 18. However, the majority of the projects we have participated in so far have been designed for young adults. With this initiative, we want to offer our younger users the opportunity to be part of these kinds of experiences. For this project, we have set the following objectives: - Promote cooperation and teamwork. - Foster tolerance and respect towards different opinions, encouraging the search for positive agreements. - Develop the ability to resolve and support the resolution of conflicts. - Strengthen peer-to-peer learning. - Share the cultural and festive traditions of our municipality. - Practice and pass on traditional dances and popular games. - Discover the realities of other young people living in different contexts. - Improve foreign language skills through practice. - Raise awareness of globalization while at the same time reinforcing the cultural identity of each community. - Learn about and prepare popular gastronomy, sharing culinary experiences. - Create meaningful experiences that contribute to the personal development of the young participants. - Stimulate interest in art and culture, both locally and in the partner country. - Develop leadership skills and the ability to share knowledge through activities and dynamics. To achieve these objectives, we will use non-formal education methodologies such as experiential learning, peer-to-peer learning, intercultural exchange, and contact with positive role models. In this way, young people will not only be participants but active protagonists of their own learning process.
