The Conectados project aims to carry out a youth exchange focused on the responsible and safe use of new technologies (ICTs), addressing key challenges such as the digital divide, cyberbullying, disinformation, and other emerging online risks. Through this initiative, INTEGRA – Voluntariado Joven, Comune di Ghedi, and Asociatia Prietenii Orasului Victoria seek to empower and raise awareness among 18 young people from Spain, Romania, and Italy, providing them with the knowledge, skills, and attitudes needed to use technology ethically and to protect themselves in digital environments. The project also aims to ensure long-term impact through the sustainability and replicability of the actions developed. From the perspective of youth work practice, the objectives of the project are: General Objective: To promote responsible and healthy digital practices among the 18 young participants, fostering the acquisition of the 8 Key Competences for Lifelong Learning and encouraging their active participation in transforming their social reality. Specific Objectives - Prevent digital risks: Provide tools to identify, understand, and address risks such as cyberbullying, privacy violations, fake news, or gender-based digital violence, fostering a safer and more respectful online environment. - Reduce the digital divide: Offer inclusive training opportunities, especially for young people with fewer opportunities, ensuring that all participants can fully benefit from the potential of ICTs. - Promote positive digital coexistence: Encourage online interactions based on European values of respect, solidarity, and mutual support, fostering conscious and active digital citizenship. Create a transnational youth network: Facilitate a European youth meeting bringing together 18 young participants and 3 youth leaders from Italy, Romania, and Spain, creating a space for sharing experiences and developing collaborative projects on the responsible use of technologies. Through training, awareness-raising, and youth participation, the Conectados project responds to contemporary challenges in the digital environment and directly contributes to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), in particular: - SDG 4: Quality Education - SDG 5: Gender Equality - SDG 10: Reduced Inequalities
