From Guadarrama to Europe aims to promote a healthy lifestyle among young people through sports and outdoor activities, enhancing their physical and mental well-being, while fostering teamwork, problem-solving, social skills, and a better use of digital technologies. Through non-formal learning, participants will explore their personal development through physical activity, cultural exchange, environmental awareness, and immersion in the cultural richness of the Guadarrama area and its surroundings. The main objectives of the project are: - To encourage a healthier lifestyle through outdoor sports and nature-based activities, developing teamwork, problem-solving, and social skills for the personal growth of young people. - To promote mental health and personal development through sports and nature activities that stimulate creativity, critical thinking, and employability, facilitating social and professional integration. - To foster personal growth and intercultural collaboration through outdoor experiences, strengthening new friendships, mutual respect, and European values such as democracy, inclusion, and human rights. - To promote a more digitalized generation that is aware of the use of digital technologies in their daily lives through the learning of digital tools (Wikiloc and Strava apps) specifically for sports. In addition, the project also aims to: - Encourage intercultural exchange among participants and with the local community. - Improve digital skills through the creation of digital diaries, blogs, or multimedia content. - Promote sustainable practices during project activities. From the perspective of youth work, this project supports participants in their transition to adulthood by providing tools to develop resilience, self-awareness, and teamwork skills, while reinforcing values of inclusion, respect, and sustainability. It creates an international learning environment where young people can step out of their comfort zone, gain independence, and adopt a more proactive attitude towards their well-being, their community, and European culture.
