Objectives

The project “Creative Adolescence: Health, Wellbeing and Community” aims to foster creativity, inclusion, and intercultural dialogue among young people aged 14 to 18 through a collaborative exchange between Urretxu and Wiesbaden. It seeks to empower adolescents as active members of their communities while strengthening their personal, social, and cultural development. The main objectives are to develop key competences such as communication, teamwork, empathy, resilience, digital literacy, and intercultural understanding. The project also promotes equal opportunities by removing economic and social barriers to ensure the participation of young people with fewer opportunities. Through creative processes, workshops, and intercultural encounters, it aims to reinforce a sense of belonging, European citizenship, and community engagement. In the field of youth work, this project promotes non-formal education as a key tool for learning, inclusion, and social cohesion. It creates safe and inspiring spaces where adolescents can experiment with new ideas, collaborate across cultures, and apply creativity to address both local and global challenges, enhancing their health, wellbeing, and overall development.
