Youth workers today face limited access to quality training, weak promotion of volunteering, scarce professional growth pathways, and outdated methods that fail to inspire young people. At the same time, challenges such as climate change, digitalisation, and unemployment leave them unprepared to respond effectively to the realities faced by youth. These gaps result in low youth engagement, declining quality of youth work, and missed opportunities for innovation, Erasmus+ participation, and community resilience. SkillUp: Lifelong Learning for Youth Workers aims to reverse this trend by strengthening the competences of youth workers and equipping them with practical, modern tools to engage, inspire, and support young people. Through structured training, non-formal learning, and peer exchange, participants will discover new opportunities, learn to promote volunteering as a transformative driver of solidarity, and integrate sustainability, digital skills, and civic engagement into their daily practice. With our project we aim to achieve the following objectives: - Enhance youth workers’ competences through structured training and non-formal learning. - Promote volunteering as a tool for inclusion, solidarity, and active citizenship. - Foster innovation in youth work through creative, relevant, and impactful methods. - Strengthen professional growth pathways by encouraging lifelong learning and international cooperation. - Prepare youth workers to address digitalisation, sustainability, and unemployment in their daily practice. - Raise awareness of Erasmus+ opportunities and EU values, encouraging new initiatives at local, national, and international levels.
