The primary aim of our project is to strengthen the capacity of youth workers to recognize, support, and address mental health challenges among young people in a more informed, sensitive, and sustainable way. Through this initiative, we want to equip youth workers with the tools, perspectives, and confidence needed to create supportive environments that promote emotional well-being and resilience in their daily work with youth. More specifically, the objectives of the project are: To increase awareness and understanding of mental health issues within the youth work field, helping youth workers recognize early signs of distress and better respond to the emotional needs of young people. To develop practical skills and approaches for promoting mental well-being in youth spaces, including inclusive communication strategies, self-care tools, and mental health first-response techniques suitable for non-clinical settings. To prevent burnout and support the well-being of youth workers themselves, recognizing that their emotional health is essential for sustainable and effective youth engagement. To encourage open dialogue and reduce stigma around mental health topics within youth programs and activities, enabling more young people to seek help or feel understood. To promote peer learning and cross-cultural exchange, allowing youth workers from different countries to share practices, challenges, and innovative methods in supporting young people's mental health. To promote Erasmus+ program and youth workers mobility projects to increase the visibility of such initiatives By the end of the project, we expect participating youth workers to feel more prepared, empowered, and motivated to integrate mental health awareness into their youth work practice, ultimately enhancing the overall quality and impact of their work in their communities.
