This project emerges from the concrete needs identified in the field of youth work across our partner countries. Young people, especially those from disadvantaged backgrounds, often face barriers in accessing non-formal education opportunities, participating actively in society and developing competences that can support their personal and professional growth. Youth workers equally need new tools, fresh approaches and stronger international cooperation to respond to these challenges. We want to carry out this project in order to create an international learning environment where participants can overcome stereotypes, strengthen their social inclusion, and acquire key competences such as intercultural dialogue, teamwork, digital literacy and problem-solving. The project is also motivated by the lack of sustainable networks between organisations; through this initiative, we aim to establish partnerships that will last beyond the project’s lifetime. In doing so, we not only address the personal development of young people but also raise the quality of youth work practices in Europe. The objectives are to empower participants with competences in leadership, cooperation, intercultural understanding and active citizenship so that they become more engaged in their local communities. The project also aims to provide disadvantaged participants with opportunities to overcome economic, geographical or social barriers by ensuring their active inclusion and by assigning them meaningful roles within the activities. At the same time, we seek to improve the capacities of youth workers through the exchange of best practices, the development of innovative non-formal learning methods and the integration of digital tools such as blogs, podcasts and video production into their daily practice. Recognition of non-formal learning will be promoted by embedding Youthpass in the daily reflection process, enabling participants to document and communicate their learning outcomes effectively. Beyond the partner organisations, dissemination will reach a wide audience by engaging at least 600 young people and 30 institutions through workshops, peer-to-peer sessions, public events and online platforms. The project will also contribute to sustainable cooperation between partner organisations by generating follow-up project ideas during the final sessions of the mobility and by maintaining communication networks after the activity. Finally, we aim to foster core European values such as inclusion, solidarity and respect for diversity through cultural exchange activities and collaborative group work, ensuring long-lasting impact at both individual and institutional levels. Through these objectives, the project aims to achieve tangible improvements in the skills and confidence of young participants, while also creating long-term benefits for youth organisations. It will contribute to the professionalisation of youth work, the empowerment of young people and the visibility of Erasmus+ opportunities across local, national and European contexts.
