Currently there is a boom in society, a very significant increase in young people and the general population, who go to the environment to perform sports activities to improve their physical, mental and social health. However, it has generated, in the same way, an increasingly worrying problem. This increase in outdoor sports is bringing with it a major problem, more accidents due to negligence and also a negative impact of the human footprint on the natural environment, since, on no occasion, has the basic training of the general population, who have free access to the natural environment, been addressed. With this project we intend to achieve a double main purpose, to promote safety in the activities carried out in nature, and to favor the care of the environment when people are immersed in it. FUNDAMENTAL OBJECTIVES: - To train youth workers, and with them young Europeans, in good practices to carry out activities in nature in a safe way - To bring to the young population basic tools to understand the natural environment, and how to move safely in it - To teach, from practice, simple and replicable strategies to reduce damage in case of accident - To provide youth workers with practical strategies to mitigate the negative impact that people generate in the environment - To promote care for the environment and connection with nature, with oneself and with the environment - Encourage responsible and safe practice of outdoor activities in a way that benefits the physical, mental and social health of young people and curbs the current climate crisis
