The project “Change the Narrative!” aims to strengthen the competencies of youth workers in audiovisual storytelling as a tool for social transformation. We want participants to acquire technical skills and understand the potential of audiovisual media as a space for cooperation and a driver of change. The main objectives are: Democratize access to audiovisual storytelling, showing youth workers that it is possible to tell meaningful stories with accessible resources that generate social impact. Promote critical thinking and collective reflection around the dominant dystopian narratives, encouraging young people to identify alternative, more sustainable, supportive, and constructive stories. Foster intercultural dialogue through the creation of mini-documentaries in transnational teams, promoting cooperation. Strengthen the audiovisual capacities of the participating youth organizations, which will gain replicable methodologies to make their own initiatives visible and give a voice to projects that often remain unnoticed. Empower youth workers as agents of change, capable of guiding young people through creative processes that strengthen their European sense of belonging and social commitment. In short, the project aims to ensure that positive stories do not go untold. We want to be a megaphone for that change.
