The main objective of the project is to help young people develop key skills in communication, stress management, and preparation for the labor market. As evidenced by various studies, the development of these transversal skills is essential for personal and professional growth. Through this project, we aim to offer young people in each community the opportunity to develop these skills, providing them with a first encounter with tools that they can continue to use throughout their lives. The first objective is to develop effective communication skills through public speaking workshops. We aim to provide youth workers with the necessary tools to express their ideas clearly and convincingly, both in their professional and personal environments. Through practical workshops, participants will learn to structure speeches and presentations, control their body language, and manage their tone of voice. Additionally, simulations will be organized where they can put the elements they’ve learned into practice, receiving feedback from peers and trainers to identify mistakes and improve their weaknesses. By the end of the project, we hope that participants will want to deepen these skills, and for those who have not had the opportunity to receive such training before, it will be their first step in developing these competencies. The second objective is to improve stress management in professional situations. We want to equip youth workers with practical tools and strategies to manage stress during critical moments in their careers. We will also address how to cope with nerves in high-pressure situations, helping participants avoid feeling guilty when rejecting certain orders or tasks when necessary. Through breathing strategies and relaxation techniques, they will learn to control anxiety and stay calm in tense moments, promoting a more balanced and healthy approach to work. The third objective is to prepare participants for job interviews, teaching them how to highlight their skills and present themselves effectively. Through CV writing, participants will learn how to identify key information and give it the appropriate emphasis. Additionally, we will work on how to present themselves, how to respond to common questions, and how to project confidence through body language. They will also be taught how to stand out and differentiate themselves in an interview, enabling them to position themselves effectively in a selection process. This project aims not only to improve each participant's specific skills but also to foster a positive change in their approach to work and personal development. By the end of the training, we expect young people to feel better prepared to face the labor market, but also to acquire valuable tools for their everyday life. From the perspective of non-formal education, this project provides young people with practical and applicable tools that they can use in their daily lives. Through interactive workshops, group activities, and experiential learning, participants not only acquire communication, stress management, and labor market preparation skills, but also develop their capacity for reflection and self-assessment. By the end of the project, we expect that young people will not only have more confidence in their abilities but will also have learned how to apply this knowledge practically in their professional and personal lives.
