TOFFY is a mobility project for youth workers that focuses on empowering professionals to design and facilitate high-quality group processes, creating learning environments where young people feel heard, valued, and motivated. This involves learning how to manage diverse groups, identify and use group roles and dynamics constructively, foster horizontal participation, and integrate creative tools that can reach young people from different realities and opportunities. By providing transferable skills that can be applied immediately, the project has a direct impact on the participating organisations, strengthening the quality of their programmes and the effectiveness of their teams. With TOFFY, we aim to directly improve the facilitation competences of youth workers, equipping them with tools to create safe, participatory and trust-based spaces in their daily work with youth groups. By strengthening these competences, we seek to enable them to address common challenges in youth work more effectively—such as emotional management, conflict prevention and transformation, or horizontal leadership—thus increasing the quality and impact of the activities they implement in their communities. In the medium term, we aspire for this learning to contribute to a network of better-prepared professionals, capable of innovating, collaborating, and providing more inclusive responses to the needs of young people in Europe. The main objectives of TOFFY are: To develop facilitation competences in youth workers in order to improve group work and foster participatory dynamics. To provide practical tools for emotional management, constructive conflict resolution, empathetic communication, and collaborative leadership. To encourage the exchange of experiences between organisations from different countries, strengthening international networks and generating future collaborations. To promote the conscious use of non-formal education methodologies that enhance cohesion, motivation, and a sense of belonging in youth groups. Transversally, we also aim to highlight the value of youth work, increase contact between European organisations, and foster the creation of long-term joint projects
