This project builds on research from Universidad Europea de Madrid (2024) showing the strong link between body image, mental health, and lifestyle habits. Empowering Body Positivity for Healthier Lives addresses challenges such as low self-esteem, stigma, and unhealthy behaviours rooted in media and beauty standards. Through workshops, exchanges, and advocacy, youth aged 18–30 will gain knowledge, leadership, and campaign skills to challenge stereotypes and promote holistic health. Partner organisations from Spain, Italy, North Macedonia, Serbia, and Türkiye aim to strengthen expertise in youth mental health, body positivity, and diversity while ensuring long-term impact through cross-cultural cooperation. The project’s objectives are: to enhance youth participation; raise awareness of body image and wellbeing; foster inclusivity and acceptance; promote healthy lifestyles; and create sustainable impact via campaigns, policy recommendations, and partnerships with local stakeholders.
