The project aims to enhance knowledge and understanding of the European Parliament among Spanish youth aged 12 to 16, fostering civic and political engagement. Through workshops, training, and youth-created educational materials (videos, podcasts), we seek to raise awareness of the Parliament’s role, structure, and impact on daily life. Objectives include: improving knowledge of EU legislative processes; developing key skills (teamwork, communication, participation); promoting active political engagement; establishing an open-access resource hub; creating a network of trainers via a European Citizenship School; enabling replication in other regions; and strengthening collaboration among schools, universities, and youth associations. The project aspires to empower a new generation of active, informed EU citizens capable of contributing to democratic processes and positive societal change.
